Dungarvin Wisconsin, LLC Acquires VOA Wisconsin

Today, December 15^th, Dungarvin Wisconsin welcomes 25 individuals through the acquisition of Volunteers of America (VOA) Wisconsin SPSN services.    VOA has worked with Dungarvin for the last several months to transition supports in 6 adult family homes, 2 community based residential facilities, and 4 certified, single-person programs throughout Milwaukee, West Allis, Oak Creek, and Waukesha.

We wish to express our deep appreciation to the individuals and guardians who have chosen to partner with Dungarvin, and to the many employees and management team members for their continued commitment to the individuals whom they have supported for several decades in many instances. Further, such transitions require substantial effort on the part of case managers, state guardians, and the support and action of our partners within state government including the Behavioral Health Department of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities, the Department of Aging and Independent Living, and the Department of Medicaid Services.  Finally, we thank both the VOA and Dungarvin staff working behind the scenes to make this transition as smooth as possible.

We are pleased to communicate that a majority of direct service, and support department personnel transferred to Dungarvin effective December 15^th. Alissa Kempken has joined the team as Area Director, and will work with Francie Tuescher, State Director to provide continued support through the transition and integration of the VOA WI services into Dungarvin.
